If you like poor weather and terrible field conditions, this is the game for you. The field at Doyt Perry Stadium turned in a quigmire as both teams plodding along not able to do much. The Redhawks eventually overcame Bowling Green but had to fight off one last attempt at victory - a field goal where the Falcons kicker slipped and fell and landed right in the mud. The crew from the scoreboard show was on hand to call this one, but they spent more than half the time hyping the upcoming Michigan/Ohio State game. Rece Davis, Lou Holtz and Mark May have the call. |
