On a frigid day at the Meadowlands, the Giants blow yet another game due to their own mistakes. The defense which was always the bright spot of this team, kept them in the game and gave them a chance to win. Late in the contest, Jeff Rutledge caught fire, passing the Giants down to the 10. Penalties pushed them back but they came back for more. With 29 seconds left, Rutledge passed for the game-winning touchdown but a holding call once again wiped it out and wiped them out. Seattle likely would have missed the playoffs had they lost this game. Don Criqui and Gene Washington have the call. |
