After a close battle in the first half, Dallas imploded with turnovers on four consecutive possessions and the Rams turned a couple of those into touchdowns. Vince Ferragamo played very well, throwing three touchdown passes. The Cowboys would still be decent for a few more years, but this is where the decline began. They would only play in one more playoff game in Tom Landry`s tenure (1985) and then not return to the postseason until 1991 under Jimmy Johnson. Pat Summerall and John Madden have the call. |
