Nice Color Narrated Film. Forest Evashevski`s last Iowa team picks up a huge win en route to a 9-1 season. Hawkeyes at #3 build a 14-0 lead only to lose it it the fourth quarter 15-14. Then miraculously, intercept a handoff with 2 minutes to play and return it 75 yards for a score. The hawks then plant a meaningless score on making the final 27-15. The Spartans coached by Duffy Daugherty and led by the likes of Herb Adderly, Gary Ballman and Fred Arbanas couldn`t hold on. |
