So many storylines in this one! Super Bowl rematch from two years prior. Warren Sapp on the Raiders, Tim Brown on the Bucs in his final season. Brown would catch the final touchdown pass of his career in this game. Jerry Rice playing in his final season. Rich Gannon gets injured and would ultimately be lost for the season, so Kerry Collins takes over. Chucky! On top of that, Pat Summerall was subbing for Mike Patrick who had open heart surgery just prior to the season. He would call the first four games on ESPN with Joe Theismann and Paul Maguire. |
