The Wings looked good in their game #1 victory over the Flyers. Fedorov, Yzerman, Kocur and Maltby each scored a goal, and goalie M.Vernon stopped 26 of 28 shots in the victory. For the Flyers, the legion of doom line could not produce enough to keep the Flyers in the game. J.Leclair had a goal, and Lindros added 2 helpers in a losing cause. On a side note, FOX network used the fox tracker in this game. This was the controversial move of highlighting the puck during the game. I must say that when they introduced the tracker all those years ago, I hated it. Now, watching the game many years later, I don`t mind it so much. I can`t believe I changed my mind about the tracker, oh well!! |
