This is the ESPN broadcast with announcers Sam Rosen and Phil Esposito. The Bruins played a very good game defensively, and got excellent goaltending from R.Lemelin. Moe Lemay scored on a nice slapper that gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead after one. In the second period there were a couple of nice fights, that really got the crowd going. Bob Sweeney scored a goal right before the end of the second period. It was a highlite goal, that you have to watch it, to appreciate it. In the third the Canadiens scored their lone goal, and didn`t have any other chances after that. The Bruins limited Montreal to 23 shots on goal for the game, but had relatively few scoring chances. Bruins take a 2-1 series lead. |
