In the wildest game of the bowl season, USC comes back from 14 down in the 4th quarter to beat Penn State with a late field goal. Freshman Sam Darnold throws for over 400 yards and 5 touchdowns to mark the official coming of the next great USC quarterback. Saquon Barkley was electric for Penn State, (especially in the 3rd quarter ) scoring three times. This would be the highest scoring game in Rose Bowl history as both teams combined for 103 points and over 1,000 yards. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Sam Ponder and Tom Rinaldi have the call. |
