2010-11 NBA Tip-Off season opener featuring the much-hyped Miami Heat in Boston visiting the defending Eastern Conference Champions. The Heat have a slew of players making their official Miami debut, namely LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Jermaine O`Neal and Shaq are making their Boston debuts. The latter has nine points, seven rebounds and a block in eighteen minutes of play, but it`s Rajon Rondo`s seventeen assists that steal the show. Also for the Celtics, Ray Allen has 20 points, Paul Pierce has 19 and Jermaine O`Neal gets 13 in twelve minutes. LeBron James garners 31 points, but shoots poorly and commits eight turnovers. Dwayne Wade plays terribly after a hamstring injury limited his preseason action to just three minutes, and Bosh is dominated by Kevin Garnett, scoring just eight points. |
