UVA wins 68-63 in front of a jam packed Cap Centre, the hype was huge leading up to this game. 19,035 people crammed in to see two college heavyweights go at it, Ralph Sampson of Virginia and Patrick Ewing of Georgetown.
In the end it was Sampson, 23 points, 16 rebounds and 7 blocks that got the better of Ewing, 16 points, eight rebounds and 5 blocked shots. |
