The Lions previous Monday night game against the Giants was an ugly game and this wasn`t much better, at least on the offensive side of the ball. On defense however, the Silver Rush clearly wanted this game more than the beat up Vikings who were in a tailspin and missing several key players. Billy Sims played well for Detroit. Frank Gifford, Howard Cosell and Don Meredith have the call. |
