| Comments: |
Beautiful color film (for the first 16 min)of the Card-Pitt Cardinals-Steelers (jokingly called the Carpets) playing at Detroit! They were a merged team of the Cardinals and Steelers during World War II, although it was comprised more of Cardinals players than Steelers. Frank Sinkwich of Detroit had a touchdown pass called back due to a penalty and Card-Pitt had a blocked punt return for a touchdown erased by a penalty of their own. |
