3rd title for Jim Calhoun. The Huskies put an incredible defense sheme against Butler. Butler`s 18.8% shooting for the entire game was the lowest ever in the NCAA final. It was also the lowest scoring 1st half in championship play since 1946 (Oklahoma State/North Carolina). Butler`s Shelvin Mack 13 points, Uconn`s Kemba Walker 16 points led their teams in scoring. |
