Ohio State had hammered UCLA in the regular season, but this game wasn`t so easy for the #1 Buckeyes. UCLA dashed Ohio State`s national championship dreams with a big 23-10 upset.
The nicest thing about this copy? No timecode! However, the playback of the source tape was a bit weaker when this copy was made by whomever did it. So you see a few more dropouts, especially early. Then for a couple of real time minutes around the hour mark into disc 1, there`s some tracking issues near the bottom of the screen.
Following the game is a short silent film showing crowd shots and footage outside the stadium. Then you see a DVD player menu, indicating the film is a player to recorder dub possibly. The game itself looks too clear and pixelation free to be player to recorder, though. |
