Naming Back-Ups for Weather-Related Cancellations
If you are worried about weather (usually hurricanes) cancellations, here are the rules for naming replacement players. Post the following information on the message board:
1. You must name, specifically, which player will be replaced, and which player will be the replacement.
2. This post must be made before game time for BOTH players.
3. The switch will be made only if the player to be replaced has his game cancelled completely.
So, if Replacement A plays at 1:00 PM, and Starter B plays at 7:00 PM but there is a hint of possible bad weather, you must post BEFORE 1:00 PM that you would replace Starter B with Replacement A if Starter B's game is called.
If you start a player whose game is called mid-way thru because of weather - well, if the NCAA counts it as final, we will count that player as having played and you do not get the replacement player's stats/points.
