LUTHER FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Luther Bowl XI A Rematch of Luther Bowl V
A re-match six seasons in the making. And for the Norse Force, it's a re-match against the Ultimate Warriors that has taken WAY too long to happen.
Making their first playoff appearance since the 1999 season, when the Force dominated the league with a 12-3 record, the Force look to win their first-ever Luther Bowl title against the team that took it from them last time. The similarities are frightening.
1999: Norse win Miller Division with 12-3 record, Ultimate Warriors win Dieseth Division with 9-5-1 record.
2005: Norse win Dieseth Division with 12-2 record, Ultimate Warriors win Miller Division with 9-5 record.
1999: Norse score 54-45 win over Family Plow in first round, Warriors win 39-33 over Judgment Day
2005: Norse win 52-15 over Cole's Krushers, Warriors win 46-43 over Vesterheim Vikings.
So, what's it going to be? Will the Ultimate Warriors and Coach Ellen Knautz join the two-timers club that consists of only Keith Knautz and Kari Boese? Or will Norse Coach Dave Boese FINALLY get the Luther Bowl win that has eluded him for eleven painful years?

Luther Football League Historical Site
Welcome to the history pages of the Luther Football League. Founded in 1995 with four teams, 2004 marks the 10th season of the LFL. Luther Football League The former site used to contain much more statistical data, but poor data collection from the early seasons made it difficult to manage. Plus, I think I was the only one ever interested in it. You can visit the old site here. Please be patient as we work on converting all the data to the new site.
Gone are the career stat leaders and records listing who had the most rushing attempts in a game or season, and other odds and ends like that. But don't worry, we've still got the coaching records of every team, and some of the team scoring records. So, take a look around. Just remember that Fanball.com is the official league manager of the LFL. We would highly recommend them.
